RISE Mzansi's National Leader, Songezo Zibi, alongside Chief Organiser, Makashule Gana, and Mpumalanga Campaign Coordinator, Sipho Mawelela, addressed a public meeting in Nkomazi, Mpumalanga, outlining their commitment to support single mothers. Since its launch on April 19, 2023, RISE Mzansi pledged to uphold the Constitution, emphasizing democratic values and social justice.

Highlighting the challenges faced by single mothers, Zibi stressed the importance of healing past divisions to build a better future. RISE Mzansi plans to raise the Personal Income Tax threshold for single parents, increase the Child Support Grant, and implement universal Early Childhood Development (ECD), aiming to empower caregivers and ensure child welfare. The party condemns the ANC and DA for ignoring their demands and promises to advocate for marginalized voices.
