Why you should vote for RISE Mzansi and not the ANC
For decades, the ANC have focused on enriching themselves rather than creating the better life for all they promised. Instead, they have delivered unemployment, violent crime, hunger, corruption and poor service delivery.
RISE Mzansi has new leaders we can believe in and trust. They have experience, values and a plan: to build the safe, prosperous, equal and united South Africa we deserve in ONE generation. We are organising, mobilising and empowering citizens to build a country where People are free and enabled to pursue happiness and well-being.

The Problem

Unemployment

Today, 41.2% of South Africans are without work -  one of the worst unemployment rates in the world. We deserve better. We deserve an economy that works for us and creates jobs.

Crime

Too many South Africans live in fear. Our country has one of the world’s highest crime rates, and violent crime keeps increasing. The ANC has failed to keep us safe.

Service Delivery

South Africans are being failed by poor, uncaring leadership. Electricity, water, food- these should be guaranteed but under the ANC, we have load shedding and now water-shedding, and too many of us struggle to put food on the table.

What A Better Future Looks Like

A thriving economy which creates jobs; safe communities free from crime; reliable public services- this is our vision of a prosperous, equitable South Africa under new leadership.

Employment For All

New leaders will build an economy that creates jobs for everyone. New leaders can double the size of our economy every 12 years, by achieving an annual minimum GDP growth rate of 6% per annum.

Freedom from Crime

New leaders will bring freedom from fear and ensure South Africans feel safe in their homes and communities; where violent criminals are in prison rather than in the streets; and where the police are effective in stamping out crime.

Effective Service Delivery

New leaders will ensure the lights and water always stay on; that the civil service is reliable, effective and free from corruption; where all South Africans have secure and reliable access to the basic services that they need to survive and prosper. And where families can put food on the table.

Don’t just take our word for it

Hear from some of our concerned South Africans.
"We still have a lot work to do as a country and I would love to live in a society where the rights of every man, woman, and child are upheld and where everyone gets a chance to chase their dreams."
MAPASEKA KOETLE
"Hospitals are struggling. People’s businesses are falling apart. The exchange rate is skyrocketing. Something needs to be done, and we are not angry enough. And we need to do more.”
BONANG MATHEBA
"We’ve made many strides but still have a long way to go in fulfilling the hopes that live in our Freedom Charter. I hope that the next 25 years of freedom will see the upliftment of women and those who are underprivileged."
LANGA MAVUSO
"You know, ANC, it is tough to defend you guys. We love and support you, but we just can’t anymore. But maybe they are correct. Let us go to the polls, and this time, we will vote with our heads and not our hearts because voting with our hearts causes many problems."
ZANDI KHUMALO
“I do not believe we are doing enough. Our government has not been able to keep the lights on for 16 years. Yes, it has been that long - 16 years of blatant incompetence, 16 years of treason for me. And they don't come across as being accountable at all. All they do is point fingers and blame people. People are literally dying because they cannot keep machines on that keep them alive.”
SIV NGESI
"While I can never take for granted the major steps that have been taken in order for us to have the opportunities available to us, the work is not complete. We are still facing a number of harsh realities: unemployment, poverty, femicide, depression, sanitation, education and substance abuse, all of which continue to steal from the potential of South Africa’s youth.”
